Elke's Domain

I was born and raised in West-Australia (WA), just outside of Perth. At 19 I moved to Tasmania. During my 8 years there I completed my nursing and midwifery training, a wonderul 8 years.

On my return journey to WA. I met a swiss cyclist, Thomas (now my husband). Destiny brought us together and after 8 months cycling we arrived in Basel. We are here since October 1992 .

We now have 2 wonderful boys and plan to return to Australia and grow old(er) there.

My hobbies are nature (camping and walking), cycling, sewing, reading and dreaming.
